AF European Tour 2024 Croatia

After a rather epic European tour in 2023, we were certain we’d be back on the continent for this year, so here we are, and what better to kick things off than with our friends from Austria at the mighty XS Mag?

You see, once again we’ll be travelling all around Europe this season taking in some of the biggest events on the planet. But, it has to be said that one of our favourite shows from the whole of last year was also one of the most intermate, laid-back events we’ve ever seen. Come to think of it, XS CarNight Italy and all the meets that came with it were in some of the best locations, too. So, when the organisers said that for 2024 they’d be hitting the prime European holiday hotspot that is Umag in Croatia, we said we’d not only be there but we’d also make the collaboration official and be their headline sponsor. After all, there was no way we were missing out on this one!

So, with a plan hatched, we loaded up a full HGV trailer with a whole host of the best AF project builds at our UK HQ, and then hit the road across France, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Slovenia into northern coast of Croatia.

As is traditional with XS Mag though, XS CarNight would be the big one, but there would be plenty more automotive delights in the runup to the main event. They’d be in some crazy, and it has to be said, rather scenic locations in the Umag area, too. The first of which was their huge welcome event, seemly put on to just give us a flavour of what was to come over the next couple of days. And we like that. We like it a lot.

So first up, our Croatian Tour kicked off right by the sea, in the historic area surrounding the stunning Umag Marina, with a huge meet and some of the best street cars from all over Europe. We set up our VW T2 Bus Mobile store, crammed it full of the world’s finest detailing products, and got to work checking out the awesome selection of cars that turned up to bask in the sunshine. We can’t think of anything better than that… and it’s only day 1 of the tour!

As you can see, it's obvious that the guys at XS Mag laid on quite the welcome for everyone and, even though we saw a little rain right at the end (which was quite the surprise for such a world renowned holiday hotspot we can tell you) it was a thoroughly amazing way to kick off our 2024 European Tour. Thanks to everyone who came by our pop up store to pick up a few top detailing products along the way.

So that's day 1 done and dusted but the events would be coming fast over the next few days, starting off the very next morning with the XS Cars & Coffee meet, followed by the main event – XS CarNight Croatia.
