Certain car care products are absolute essentials for a top-notch detailing kit, and Avalanche snow foam is one of them. Snow foam plays a crucial role in the car detailing process, as it’s during this step that you eliminate many of the contaminants that can lead to paint swirls. Used with a snow foam lance, Avalanche effectively lifts and removes loose debris, making it an indispensable part of the pre-wash routine.
Avalanche snow foam is enhanced with our Citrus Power bug and grime remover, providing the extra cleaning strength needed at this stage. Typically, snow foam is used as the first step in detailing, but our goal is to remove dirt with minimal contact on the paintwork. To maximize effectiveness, we recommend applying Citrus Power to the lower panels before covering the entire vehicle with a layer of snow foam. Avalanche acts as a powerful pre-wash, creating a thick foam that lifts loose debris and dirt while breaking down stubborn grime, making the contact wash phase much easier. It’s an essential pre-wash step to clear away contaminants that could otherwise be swirled around by a wash mitt.
For best results, use Avalanche with a pressure washer and foam lance, although a pump spray bottle and garden hose can also work. Start by filling a 1-liter bottle with about 1–2 inches of Avalanche, then top it up with water. Apply the foaming solution to the vehicle, working from top to bottom, and allow the thick foam to sit for approximately 5 minutes. Afterward, rinse it off with a jet washer, again from top to bottom. Once the vehicle is fully rinsed, you’re ready to move on to the contact wash stage, using the two-bucket method for optimal results.
- Avoid letting Avalanche dry on the vehicle’s surface.
- Do not apply on a hot car or in direct sunlight.
- For optimal results, use with a pressure washer and snow foam lance.
