The Auto Finesse Car Wax Range
It can be confusing when multiple products seem to serve the same purpose. Auto Finesse does offer several car waxes in our detailing range, and while they’re all waxes, each one is specifically designed to meet different needs. Not every car's paintwork is identical; variations in paint strength, colour, or the desired finish after application can all play a role in your choice of wax.
Whatever your needs, we’ve got you covered! Waxes can be pricey, and we certainly don’t want you to spend money on the wrong product. We’d prefer you to find the perfect match and keep returning for more. That’s why we’re here to explain each of our waxes in detail, ensuring you get exactly what you want. First up, in no particular order:
FUSION CAR WAX
Car Wax/Sealant Hybrid
Fusion Car Wax is designed to provide the appearance and finish of a traditional car wax, combined with the durability of a sealant. This versatile hybrid can be applied to any paint colour or finish, delivering a wet-look effect that lasts, depending on the number of coats used. Formulated from a blend of Carnauba wax and polymers, it offers excellent water beading and features an easy on/off application process. Fusion provides durability for 4-6 months.
ILLUSION - CAR WAX
Most Effective on Metallics
Illusion Car Wax contains 48% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax, along with synthetic polymers and high-shine oils. Known as our "show wax," Illusion may not be as durable as some of our other options, but it delivers an unparalleled shine with just one application, resulting in a stunning, dripping-wet finish. While suitable for all colours, it shines brightest on metallics, offering a longevity of about 2-3 months. And if that wasn’t enough, it also has a delightful strawberry-liquorice scent. How lovely!
SOUL - CAR WAX
For Light Colours or Vintage Paint
If you have a vintage vehicle with a solid colour or a light-coloured car, Soul Car Wax is perfect for you. This carnauba-based wax features highly reflective properties, providing a glass-like finish that brings even the most challenging hues to life with a natural glossy glow. Soul contains 33% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax by volume, with the rest made up of all-natural beeswax, candelilla wax, and oils. You can expect around 3 months of durability from this wax. And as an added bonus, it has a delightful mango scent!
PASSION - CAR WAX
For Vintage Paint Types
Passion Car Wax is our second formula specifically tailored for vintage paint types. This professional-grade hard wax, composed of 45% carnauba wax, is designed for vintage, cellulose, and high-solid finishes. Infused with nourishing oils, it enhances the gloss and depth of older paint jobs. With "passion" in both its name and scent, this wax offers protection for up to 4 months—potentially longer if layered.
ESSENCE - CAR WAX
All-Round Car Wax
Essence Car Wax is the first in our "all-rounder" lineup. Composed of 40% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax by volume, with the remainder made up of synthetic polymers and gloss-enhancing oils, Essence offers durability of up to 3 months. This versatile wax can be used on any paint or wrap surface, making it an ideal choice if you have multiple cars. For an equally great option, consider Temptation, our second all-rounder. And it comes with a delightful blueberry scent!
TEMPTATION - CAR WAX
Entry-Level Carnauba Wax
Temptation is our second all-rounder wax and serves as our entry-level carnauba option. It delivers a flawless finish on all paint types at an affordable price. If you detail multiple vehicles, this is definitely one we recommend. Temptation contains 28% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax by volume, complemented by all-natural beeswax and oils, resulting in a warm finish with a subtle, classy glow on both light and dark colours. It offers around 2 months of durability and features a delightful pineapple scent.
DESIRE - CAR WAX
Our Flagship Wax
Desire Car Wax is our flagship natural carnauba wax, and we take great pride in this blend. Handcrafted in the UK, Desire contains 54% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax, along with natural beeswax and oils that provide a shield against everyday elements like acid rain and bird droppings, while also helping to prevent UV fading. Depending on how many layers you apply, you can achieve a stunning high-shine finish, with durability of up to 6 months thanks to its ultra-high wax solids content. And it’s all beautifully finished with the scent of wild berries.
SPIRIT - CAR WAX
For Metallic & Pearlescent Paint
Spirit Car Wax is specially formulated for metallic and pearlescent paints. It enhances the fine metallic flecks, bringing out the brilliance in these finishes. Made with natural waxes and oils, including 50% T1 Grade Brazilian Carnauba Wax, Spirit provides exceptional visual clarity, crispness, and gloss, making pearl and metallic paints truly shine. This wax offers protection for up to 6 months, depending on the number of layers applied. And it has a refreshing apple scent!
MINT RIMS - WHEEL WAX
High-Temp Wheel Wax
Mint Rims Wheel Wax is formulated from a blend of high-temperature synthetic waxes and fast-flashing solvent carriers, designed to protect your wheels and keep them in "mint" condition. This unique combination seals your wheels against hot, corrosive brake dust and oxidation. On average, Mint Rims offers 2-3 months of durability and is suitable for any wheel finish, including painted, powder-coated, clear coat, anodised, chrome, and bare-polished alloys.
Auto Finesse is dedicated to being the leading car wax brand in the UK. Each wax is meticulously hand-blended in Great Britain, providing your vehicle with nature's own defence against the elements, including water repellency and resistance to environmental pollutants like UV fading, acid rain, and bird droppings. Our paint waxes are available in 150g tins, while our wheel wax comes in a convenient 100ml size. If the wax has dried or you experience "secondary hazing" (which can happen in hot or humid conditions), use a quick detailer to soften the residue for easier removal. It’s crucial to wait at least 3 hours between layers of wax. Avoid applying car wax if the temperature is below 6 degrees Celsius or above 35 degrees Celsius. Waxing in direct sunlight or high humidity can result in over-curing or under-curing of the wax before it’s removed.
