Spray on rinse off ceramic protection

The easiest way to add a ceramic coating that offers up to 3-months of protection, instant gloss and unrivalled water behaviour at the wash stage. Coat your car in seconds with Aqua Coat Hydrophobic Rinse Aid.

Extreme water behaviour to all exterior surfaces

Developed to enhance water beading, protection and gloss quickly and efficiently during the wash stage, this advanced SiO2-based formula has been engineered to bond instantly, leaving behind a glossy protective layer, delivering an efficient 21st Century solution to applying a ceramic coating in a matter of seconds.

Water will simply bead or run off the surface and particulates aren't able to stick

SiO2 coatings are also engineered to be perfectly clear, and this means that light is able to pass through unobstructed and then bounce back to the eye uniformly without diffracting in different directions, in a similar way to a car wax this gives the appearance of a significantly deeper, glossier surface.

Safe on all exterior surfaces, including paintwork, trim, wheels and even vinyl wraps

Aqua Coat can be used as a stand-alone detailing and valeting product to introduce an SiO2 coating, or as a quick and easy maintenance top up to prolong the life and performance of other Si02-based ceramic coatings, such as those in our flagship Caramics Protection range (including our Paintwork Protection Kit, Glass Protection Kit and Wheel Protection Kit). And remember, with Aqua Coat, a little always goes a long way, simply mist over the majority of the surface, and let your rising do the rest!

Product Information

Product Type: Hydrophobic Rinse Aid
Product Code: AQU5

Developed to enhance water beading, protection and gloss quickly and efficiently during the wash stage, this advanced SiO2-based hydrophobic rinse aid has been engineered to bond instantly, leaving behind a glossy protective layer, and delivering an efficient 21st Century solution to applying a ceramic coating in a matter of seconds. There’s no need to significantly change your regular wash routine, either. Simply mist on a little Aqua Coat after rinsing away any contaminants during your contact or decontamination wash, and immediately rinse to coat your entire vehicle.

SiO2-based ceramic coatings utilise silicon dioxide, which is commonly known as silica or quartz and the main ingredient you’ll find in glass and ceramic glazes. This natural chemical compound is capable of forming extremely strong chemical bonds with almost any surface to create a supremely hard barrier that’s impervious to moisture, grime, chemicals and environmental contamination. SiO2 protection is also extremely difficult to remove during normal day-to-day driving, the chief reason why ceramic coatings always offer the ultimate in durability.

Deep down on a molecular level, the bonded SiO2 layer smooths out microscopic recesses in the surface to leave a perfectly level hydrophobic barrier that's completely smooth, this gives water, dirt and other foreign molecules nothing to cling onto. Because of these advanced properties, water will simply bead or run off the surface and particulates aren’t able to stick, this also stops potentially harmful contaminants from penetrating, guarding the more sensitive surfaces (such as paintwork and trim) from the onset of corrosion, oxidation and fading. Any surface that’s been protected with a coating will repel foreign contaminants, allowing them to either slide off or simply sit on top of the ceramic layer without being able to penetrate or bond, making the vehicle far easier to clean on the next maintenance wash.

SiO2 coatings are also engineered to be perfectly clear, and this means that light is able to pass through unobstructed and then bounce back to the eye uniformly without diffracting in different directions, in a similar way to a car wax this gives the appearance of a significantly deeper, glossier surface.
