Players Classic UK 2024 Goodwood

Players Classic is one of the biggest, coolest and most important, shows in the UK. This huge event attracts not only the finest cars from Britain, but plenty of the best we have to offer from here in Europe, too. It also happens to be one of our favourite events here at Auto Finesse, especially for the guys in our UK team who are based just down the road at the AF Factory in Harlow, Essex.

Taking place at one of the UK’s most historic and prestigious racetracks, Goodwood Circuit has been the home of Players Classic since inception. And what’s more our UK team have been there every year from the start – and they always lay on something extremely special to support the organisers and the guys in the home market.

With the Airstream and T2 Bus mobile stores in attendance, both packed with the full range of the world’s best detailing products, this year was no different. They also brought along a whole load of our best project cars, too. Quite literally a lorry load of them. TeamAF certainly know how to put on a show of force for the biggest events.

Luckily the UK guys are well versed and have plenty of experience setting up at Players Classic, as they have many, many times before. They even found time to help a few of the show car owners to get their vehicles looking their best with some direction and advice on using some of our best products for detailing on the go. It’s all part of the service when it comes to showing our support to detailing enthusiasts at any event.

Now obviously the TeamAF stand at Players Classic is one thing, but aside from the effort put into that one some of our most famous projects were out and about in other areas of the show, too.

Our Datsun Drift Car hit the track multiple times throughout the day, destroying tyres to ramp up the crowd. And our R32 Skyline GTR and Pandem Yaris GR builds were also out on the circuit – there’s nothing we love more than a track car here at AF. Fresh from its appearance at Tuning World Bodensee here in Europe our 1954 Chevy Pickup - Project StepSide - was also on display because… well, a special event deserves some of our most special projects, right?

And obviously it’s not just our UK team making a huge effort for this massive show, all the other cars on display are just as exceptional as you’d expect from Players Classic. Many cars are put together specifically to debut at this event.

However, what’s most important about this show is the atmosphere it creates, it really is unlike any other show in the UK. Some might say that theirs a laid-back European feel to this one, a bit like Worthersee or XS CarNight. Anyway have a look at the pictures – including those of some of our favourite cars on display – and you’ll see exactly what we mean.

So, you can see why Players Classic is such a big deal for our customers in the UK, and in many cases for us here in Europe too, there’s plenty that make the trip over the Channel!
