Plus d'argenterie pour l'AF Chevrolet à Ultrace 2024
Our 1954 Chevy build – Project Stepside – has already been out and about all over Europe this season, first displaying at XS CarNight in Croatia, and then winning the European Tuning Showdown at Tuning World Bodensee in Germany. But, with one of our favourite events kicking off in Poland this weekend, the Chevy would, once again, be making an appearance.
There’s no doubt that Ultrace is one of the best shows here on the continent. In fact, we’ve been attending the event since it started way back in 2014. We always like to do something special, too. So this year we not only rolled out our new BMW drift car for the first time – our 2JZ powered LTO E36. But, we also put our own slice of American muscle on the podium for all to see.
What we wasn’t expecting though, is for our Chevy to be picked for the prestigious Ultrace Top 16. Out of 1300 amazing cars on display, we ended up bagging one of the most coveted trophies in the global car scene!
Our 1954 Chevy Stepside is easily one of the most iconic project builds on our fleet. Since it was originally put together in 1999 to celebrate 20 years of Auto Finesse, it’s toured the world attending many events in the UK and here in Europe. Most recently though this one has undergone a full nut and bolt rebuild with yet more details and a new paintjob – a task that took two whole years to complete. You can see more on this rebuild in our article AF Chevy Wins European Tuning Showdown.
We’re extremely proud of our Chevy and proud of the achievement of placing in the Top 16 at one of our all-time favourite events. Most of all though, we’re proud that you guys – the showgoers of Europe - love it almost as much as we do!
